Julie’s TEXT-LETTER
Something I’m reading
I’m still working through Storyworthy-by Matthew Dicks. It’s packed full of practical advice for how to craft a story to pull your audience in. It’s honestly one of the most well written nonfiction books I’ve read in a while.
Something I photographed
Sneak peak at how our master bathroom is starting to come together. A couple of design choices I’m loving:
Painted ceiling the same color as the walls
Simple tile colors
My elbows won’t hit the soap bottles
Something I’m excited about
We got to attend Shiloh’s exhibit night where she performed on stage a presentation of what she learned during taekwondo class. The music hit, and Shiloh stepped up – small but fierce, her eyes locked on the board in front of her. One sharp breath, a snap, and then crack – the board split, clean. She looked out, fist clenched in triumph, eyes finding mine – and in that moment, I wasn’t just watching my daughter perform. I was watching her conquer.
Something I recommend
ReSimpli is the real estate CRM platform I decided on and so far it’s been able to perform most of the tasks I need. I recently reached out to Ballpoint Marketing to order direct mailers and they have a 500 piece minimum. Knowing ReSimpli offers direct mail and you can order Ballpoint Marketing mailers through the CRM, I decided to check it out. Turns out there’s no minimum. Customer service has been spot on and I’m looking forward to getting these sent out asap! Stay tuned for updates on my marketing campaign.
